USFA Looks at Vehicle Visibility

Crash scenes on major roadways represent a hazardous work environment for emergency personnel. Now a new study from the USFA and International Fire Service Training Association looks at how to make their vehicles more visible.

The Emergency Vehicle Visibility and Conspicuity Study examines areas like retroreflective striping and chevrons, high-visibility paint, built-in passive light, and other reflectors for ambulances, fire apparatus and other emergency vehicles.
