Taipei, Sept. 17, 2009 (CENS) -- LED-lighting manufacturer Alliance Optotek Corp. has projected its revenue to grow at annual rate of 200% to NT$600 million (US$18 million at US$1:NT$33) next year after an estimated 250% increase throughout this year mostly thanks to its road into mainland China's and Japan's public-work project market.

Co-held by chipmaker United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC), lamp maker China Electrical Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and steel maker China Steel Corp., Alliance Optotek projects its 2009 revenue at NT$300 million (US$9 million) on ground that it has secured considerable contracts for its architecture lights and streetlights.
