EDMONTON, ALBERTA, Sep 30, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Consumers looking for a new meal idea for their youngsters are getting help from Edmonton- headquartered Heritage Frozen Foods, manufacturers of well known CHEEMO brand of perogies. The company's introduction of Kiderogies, a kids' size perogy that is 3.5 cm in size, is a product Heritage Frozen Foods President Joe Makowecki has considered for quite some time. Having two young children who are always hungry helped get the Kiderogies project rolling.
"My wife and I would cut up our regular size perogies for our children," says Makowecki. "The small size of our Kiderogies has an immediate appeal to kids."
