Sep 30, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Infrastructure Australia has appointed KPMG to review public-private partnership agreements. KPMG will investigate ways of reducing bidding costs and increasing competition, as well as the structuring of bid processes. Infrastructure Minister, Anthony Albanese, said increased private investment would boost the Australian economy. The Council of Australian Governments agreed to unify public-private partnership agreements in 2008, in a bid to encourage infrastructure development.
