DESPITE the two days holiday declared by the Federal government in commemoration of Eid-el-Fitri, investors' interests in the equities sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) were rekindled, thus strengthening the hold of the bulls on the exchange, as investors stake N218 billion on bonds.
Besides, the N18.5 billion Imo State Government of Nigeria 15.5 per cent Fixed Rate Bond 2009/2016 Series 1 was admitted on the Daily Official List last week.
By this action, the number of listed state government Bonds and securities increased to 7 and 294, respectively.
