North Bay Corp., Sonoma County s main trash hauler, is maneuvering for a long-term contract in the county s unincorporated areas that critics complain is the reason the company is taking a neutral stance on Tuesday s controversial landfill sale debate.
Sonoma County supervisors on Tuesday will consider awarding North Bay a 15-year franchise for trash and recycling collection in the unincorporated areas of the county.
