THE POWER Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) said on Friday that nine investors are expected to bid for National Power Corp. s (Napocor) contracted capacities for three hydroelectric plants.
PSALM said the nine companies beat Tuesday s deadline for the signing of a confidentiality agreement and payment of non-refundable $10,000 participation fee.
Bidders are vying for independent power producer administrator (IPPA) contracts for the 345-megawatt (MW) San Roque plant in San Miguel, Pangasinan, 70-MW Bakun in Benguet, Ilocos Sur and the 30-MW Benguet mini-hydro facility.
