After a continuance of 30 days from the prior month, the Lyon County Planning Commission at its September meeting voted to approve extending the special use permit for Refuse, Inc. for the Dayton transfer station but with staff to check on compliance of some issues.
Initially a motion by Planning Commissioner Ervin Hill called for continuing the special use permit (SUP) for 60 days to see if work at the Dayton facility, stemming largely from a fire there in July 2008 would be completed by then. However, no second was made.
