Aker Solutions, a provider of engineering and construction services to the oil and gas industry, has signed a contract with BP America to perform subsea construction activities at the operator's Atlantis and Thunder Horse fields in the Gulf of Mexico.
The scope of work comprises planning and executing the installation of subsea hardware including manifolds, pipeline-end manifolds, jumpers, flying leads and related equipment.
The work will be performed at water depths between 1,600m and 2,000m, and is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2009. The project will be ...
