Article: Vietnam: VietinBank spends US$220 million for Ca Mau Protein Factory.

On September 25 the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and the Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) in Hanoi signed a credit contract worth US$220 million for a national project to build the Ca Mau Protein Factory.

Ca Mau Protein Factory will have a capacity of 800,000 tonnes per year and cover an area of 52 hectares in Khanh An commune, U Minh district, Ca Mau province.

Located near the route of the PM3-Ca Mau gas pipeline, and close to the biggest consumption market, Mekong River Delta and advantageous traffic, the Ca Mau Protein Factory has economic, social and political advantages and it will minimise environmental impact.
