Are conservatives manipulating the elderly to oppose health care reform, as has been suggested lately on liberal news websites such as the Daily Kos and Huffington Post?
At 60, I reluctantly admit to qualifying as a senior citizen. I recently received this e-mail solicitation from Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican National Committee: "Please help the RNC recruit and train the next generation of conservative Republican candidates who are committed to our core values of limited government, fiscal discipline and personal responsibility by making a secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or $25 today."
