NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Shoney's, Inc. (NYSE: SHN), announced today that in response to customer preference, Shoneys Restaurants will not sell beer and wine at three West Virginia restaurant locations, two in Huntington and one in Barboursville.
"Shoney's is a customer-driven business," said Michael Bodnar, president and CEO of Shoney's, Inc. "Our focus groups and market tests have told us that the majority of our customers in the Huntington and Barboursville areas prefer a traditional family dining menu that does not include beer and wine."
