TORONTO, ONTARIO, Oct 1, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Midlands Minerals Corporation ("Midlands" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MEX) is pleased to report that the scoping study focusing on the condition of the existing Sian CIL plant (as announced on August 5, 2009), has been received by the Company. E+PC Engineering & Projects Company Limited (E+PC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Aveng (Africa) Ltd, conducted the study. The study also focused on what would be required to re-commission the plant.
