Campbell Soup Company announced the nominations of Lawrence C. Karlson and Archbold D. van Beuren for election to its Board of Directors at the company's annual meeting of shareowners, which will be held on Nov. 19.
The company said that Karlson will succeed George Strawbridge, 71, who will retire from the Board after 22 years of service. Van Beuren will succeed David C. Patterson, 61, who will retire from the Board after seven years of service.
Karlson, 66, was Chairman and CEO of Berwind Financial Corp. from 2001 to 2004. He served as Chairman of Spectra-Physics AB from 1990 to 1993 and President and CEO of Pharos AB from 1986 until its acquisition by ...
