Netezza Corp., a company focusing on data warehouse and analytic appliances, announced that Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc., maker of Jim Beam Bourbon, has selected Netezza and Aperity, companies delivering analytics for the consumer package goods industry, to meet its business intelligence needs.
According to a release, Beam Global recognized the analytics offered through the Netezza platform by Aperity was positioned to help them forecast future sales and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
