For the ninth consecutive year, Verizon has been named to Working Mother magazine's list of 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers (see also Verizon).
The annual list recognizes companies that have family-friendly benefits and policies that help working mothers strike a balance between their work and personal lives. According to the publication, the 100 best companies have shown an unwavering dedication to family-friendly benefits programs -- in numbers that dwarf those seen nationwide. Among the programs cited are: on-site lactation, job-sharing and wellness programs as well as tuition assistance and pre-tax flexible spending accounts (FSA) for childcare.
