Six-time Academy Award-winning special makeup effects artist, Rick Baker, will accept a Chiller-Eyegore Award at Universal Studios Hollywood's opening night ceremony for the theme park's "Halloween Horror Nights" event on Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm.

Baker will be honored for his incomparable design and his makeup effects that have created indelible imagery in over 42 horror films.

Most recently, Baker worked on Universal Pictures' "The Wolfman" alongside Director Joe Johnston ("Jurassic Park III") and Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro in which he transforms Del Toro into the fearsome title character. The film opens nationwide on February 12, 2010.
