WHAT do dormice conservation in North Wales, the restoration of an historic garden in Cowbridge and World War II reminiscence projects all have in common? All of these are examples of activities which rely on volunteers to be a success and which have been supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Many heritage projects come alive due to voluntary effort; volunteers are active every minute of every day in every community in Wales, and make a significant contribution to every aspect of the economic, cultural, social and environmental life of Wales.
