Geoffrey Hoodless looks to start execution only online stockbroker

EXCLUSIVE The co-founder of a stockbroking firm twice fined by the FSA believes he will have no difficulty in obtaining authorisation for a new online trading platform.

Geoffrey Hoodless is currently in the process of carrying out preliminary research into launching a new online trading platform, The Share Republic.

The website www.thesharerepublic.com is targeting a launch date in the first quarter of 2010, and will be an execution-only stockbroking service providing simplified online access for consumers to invest in large to small cap companies.
