Delphi consolidates factories
DETROIT Delphi Corp. is closing a plastics plant in Clinton, Miss., by year end and shifting production to a factory in Warren, Ohio.
Both plants are part of Packard Electrical/Electronic Architecture, a unit of Delphi. Packard makes cables and injection-molded connectors for automotive electrical systems.
Delphi, of suburban Detroit, makes safety and electronic products and powertrain and steering systems.
