Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan must disclose by Thursday all self-insured employers, retirement funds and other entities that used its administrative services and paid the carrier a contested fee, unless a judge revisits his ruling in a class-action lawsuit.
Blue Cross wants U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow in Detroit to reconsider his order certifying a class action for hundreds of self-insured customers in the 2004 lawsuit by Pipefitters Local 636 Insurance Fund and its trustees before an Oct. 1 disclosure deadline.
No hearing is scheduled.
