Last month, Steven Pisarkiewicz joined Matrix Asset Advisors, a New York-based institutional management company founded 23 years ago by David Katz and the late John Gates, as a managing director, senior portfolio manager and a partner in the boutique firm.
Pisarkiewicz, prior to moving to Matrix, had spent over 15 years at AllianceBernstein, where he handled business development.
"I joined Bernstein in 1989, and left 14 years later to run asset management activities at Bank of New York," Pisarkiewicz said, "but after Mellon bought it, I returned to Bernstein for another two years."
