WHY?
A HUGE, colourful (and really quite smelly) open-air museum in a tiny, picturesque South Wales hamlet, St Fagans, full of replica houses, a farm, mills and even a castle, all from different periods in Welsh history. The journey begins in an Iron Age Celtic village and leads to a modern, eco-friendly house from the future. St Fagans might be little-known, but it is Wales's leading tourist attraction and one of the most popular open-air museums in Europe.
