THOMAS Leuluai headed for England and Super League five years ago because he could not get into the New Zealand Warriors side due to the brilliance of his hero Stacey Jones.
Jones, known as The Little General, is revered in his homeland and it quickly dawned on Leuluai that he would have to take another route to realise his dreams. Today, St Helens stand between him and a Grand Final appearance at Old Trafford -- one thing Jones never achieved.
'There won't be another one around like Stacey for a while,' said Wigan Warriors scrum half Leuluai. 'He was one of the all-time greats and he had an immense influence on my career.
