By KARACHI, October 01, 2009 (PPI): Sindh High Court Thursday directed six government and private hospitals, all Cantonments of Karachi, Federal Government & City District Government Karachi to file in two weeks rejoinder to petition seeking closure of incineration plants in metropolis. Environmentalist lawyer Qazi Ali Athar filed pro bone petition, submitting highly toxic fumes emitted during hospital waste incineration & solid waste burning was causing serious hazardous to human lives in metropolis.
