One of real estate's leading families, the Malkins, is renaming the network of companies it has built from a partnership that began over 30 years ago and which now impacts virtually every sector of the industry.
In a major re-branding, father and son Peter L. Malkin, chairman and Anthony E. Malkin, president, will drop the 'W' from the W&M moniker that has served as a stamp of excellence for the firm that Peter began with his father-in-law, Lawrence Wien.
The companies--which include real estate ownership, management, securities, investment and construction entities--will be simply known as Malkin affiliates.
