NEWCASTLE reject Ignacio Gonzalez is being touted around Europe by Valencia after failing to make an impact in Spain following his arrival from the North East.
The Uruguayan international, at the centre of former manager Kevin Keegan's successful compensation claim against Newcastle, has been deemed surplus to requirements by Valencia coach Unai Emery.
But attempts to find him a new club have failed, with Celtic turning down an approach from South American super agent Pasco Casal for the player during the last transfer window.
