One is a longshoreman, another a school teacher. Karen Benton works in security. Faye Gallop is a professor at Hampton University.
All of them are women in uniform - softball uniforms. They are the Dreamgirlz of Hampton Roads.
If you love softball and want to be a Dreamgirl, there's just one catch. Are you 50? Because this team doesn't want any thirtysomethings or even just-turned 40-year-olds. This team plays senior slow-pitch softball.
Other than that stipulation, age is merely a number to these folks.
