R.W. Beckett Corp. has recently worked to modernize its product line and develop more green technologies. The focus of Beckett's efforts has been an electronic regulator for residential water boilers. This device, which costs less than $500 installed, can cut heating bills by about 30 percent, saving most homeowners a minimum of $300 a year, according to the company.
Beckett is now taking its message to Capitol Hill, educating politicians about practical ways to quickly reduce fuel consumption, improve energy efficiency and generate American jobs.
