Oct 04, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Rising demand for food in Asia has prompted foreign companies to look for suitable investments in Australia's agricultural sector. John Murray, the head of Perennial Investment Management, says foreign investors are often better in understanding global economic trends and identifying undervalued assets than Australians. Investors are advised to consider buying shares in Australian Agricultural Company, which is trading at a 40 per cent discount to its net tangible assets.
