Sheffield singer/songwriter Richard Hawley was delighted to see his new album enter the top 20 charts - because he was sure it wouldn't be very popular.
"I set out to make something that is probably not very commercial," he says of Truelove's Gutter, which debuted at number 17. "I wanted something that would take you on a journey when you listened to it from beginning to end. So it's definitely an album concept rather than lots of unrelated tracks.
