Phoenix-Cole Real Estate Investments said that Thomas W. Roberts has joined the company as president of its real estate group.

In this role, Mr. Roberts will oversee Cole's real estate activities, including acquisitions, underwriting, asset management and leasing.

Prior to joining Cole, he served as president and chief executive officer of Opus West Corp. since 1993.

Mr. Roberts also worked as vice president, real estate development for the Koll Co.

CALIFORNIA

Beverly Hills-Kennedy Wilson Capital Markets hired Donald Bethe to serve as senior managing director.
