Equipping vehicles with GPS tracking devices can be useful in some cases - such as finding expensive cars if they get stolen, keeping tabs on a teenage driver's whereabouts or helping route a delivery fleet.
But a proposal in West Brookfield to equip up to 10 town vehicles with GPS just so officials can know where the vehicles are strikes us as TMI - too much information, and way too much intrusion.
