The Progressive UK Smaller Companies Fund (formerly CF Parkfield UK Smaller Companies) came into being during the early part of 2006, which represents rather unfortunate timing given the performance of its related market benchmark for much of the intervening period. During the first three years of the fund's existence the FTSE Smaller Companies sector fell by 48.6 per cent.
