FORT WORTH--BUXTON CO. MAP WINS FIRST PRIZE: The Buxton Co., a market research firm based in Fort Worth, won first prize at the MapWorld '98 Conference in Seattle for a map designed to analyze a retailer's customer base.

The 24-by-36-inch map shows potential locations for a retailer in the Washington-Baltimore area. The map also details the distance for customers to potential locations and highlights trade areas within a 20-minute drive of proposed locations.
