Pit bulls always grab headlines whenever they are involved in an attack or infamous situations such as pro-football player Michael Vick's foray into the world of dog fighting.
Legislators across the county try to ban them and some communities here in Massachusetts have been successful in passing regulations against the animal. Dog groups continue to say the breed gets a bad rap and that banning the dogs just isn't right.
