VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 6, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- HELLIX VENTURES INC. (TSX VENTURE:HEL)(OTCBB:HLLXF) - Frank Underhill, President, releases preliminary sample results on the Athabasca claim group taken as a part of its initial due diligence. The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary 0814636 B.C. Ltd., signed an option to purchase 100% of the Athabasca claim group in southeastern British Columbia earlier this month.
In August, 2009, six rock samples were taken from various sites on the property, including one of the Athabasca Mine tunnels. All samples returned gold values.
