Ramsey is hiring a marketing firm to develop a branding campaign to attract retailers and developers to its half-developed Town Center.
The city paid more than $6 million in June to buy 148 undeveloped acres at the site from banks that foreclosed after the original developer went broke in 2006. "We need a new marketing plan," said Heidi Nelson, community development director. "First, we have to decide what message we want to send to developers and to our community."
