BRETT HODGSON was last night named the engage Super League's Man of Steel as Huddersfield Giants dominated the end-of-season awards. Hodgson, 31, becomes only the fourth Australian to win the title since it was introduced 32 years ago after the full back polled more votes than Warrington captain Adrian Morley and James Graham, of St Helens.

It capped a great night for the Giants at Manchester's Hilton Hotel, with Huddersfield picking up the Super League Club of the Year award and boss Nathan Brown being named Coach of the Year.
