VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 6, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- True North Gems (TSX VENTURE:TGX) is pleased to announce that the field related components of the 2009 advanced exploration and engineering program have been completed at the Company's 100% owned Fiskenaesset Ruby Project located on the southwest coast of Greenland. The strategic focus of the 2009 program was the acquisition of data required to support the Company's application for an exploitation (mining) permit to facilitate subsequent test mining and test marketing.
