BEIRUT: The Bekaa city of Baalbek is to name on October 18 a public garden and square after late renowned poet Jawdat Haidar. The decision to pay tribute to the poet was taken on October 4, 2007, during the first commemoration ceremony of Haidar's death. The garden project was undertaken by the Friends of Poet Jawdat Restom Haidar Committee in association with the Culture Ministry and the Baalbek Municipality.
