HEAVY rain beginning Sunday evening hit several parts of Madhya Pradesh, disrupting normal life in the Bhopal, Rajgarh, Sehore, Datia, Sagar, Ujjain, Gwalior, Vidisha, Harda and Raisen districts.
The downpours threaten an Andhra Pradesh- Karnataka- like situation for the state.
Rajgarh and Ujjain districts recorded 9 cm rainfall between Sunday and Monday.
Panchmarhi, Shajapur, and Dhar received 7 cm rainfall, followed by Indore with 5 cm in the same period.
Nagaon village in Chhattarpur district recorded maximum rain of 10 cm on Sunday.
In Sehore district, the Kolans river was flowing three feet above the danger level mark. ...
