(ADPnews) - Sep 29, 2009 - PSI-20, the blue-chip index of Euronext Lisbon, closed up 0.06% at 8,449.81 points today, supported by the gains in the EDP family and toll road operator Brisa (ELI:BRI).

Brisa won 2.28% to EUR 6.89, which according to market analysts is related to the victory of the Socialist Party, or PS, in the general elections. PS has several times declared itself in favour of big projects in the public works segment as a way to fight the effects from the global financial crisis, the experts outlined.

Utility EDP (ELI:EDP) rose 0.36% to EUR 3.10 and its renewables arm EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR) appreciated 1.06% to EUR 7.46 on the day ...
