(ADPnews) - Sep 29, 2009 - PSI-20, the blue chip index of Euronext Lisbon, opened on the rise today, supported by the gains of oil and natural gas company Galp Energia and retailer Jeronimo Martins (JM).

The index was up 0.24% to 8,466.85 points shortly after trade started, with 16 companies rising, three in the red, and one unchanged.

Galp Energia (ELI:GALP) was gaining 0.65% to EUR 11.56. Still in the energy sector, the energy group EDP (ELI:EDP) rose 0.19%, and its green power arm EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDP) inched up 0.2% to EUR 7.40.
