(ADPnews) - Sep 28, 2009 - Swedish paper maker Holmen AB (STO:HOLM B) said today it plans to cut some 200 jobs in the UK and Sweden, and to reduce capacity as part of efforts to streamline its organisation and become more competitive.

The company will cut the annual capacity of the Workington Mill in Cumbria, UK, to 200,000 tonnes from 250,000 tonnes in a move to reinforce its position in high-quality boxboard. At the end of 2009, it will close down one of its board machines there with an annual capacity of 70,000 ...
