(ADPnews) - Sep 23, 2009 - Spanish-based AEI Utilities SL has announced plans to increase to over 50% its stake in Argentina's Empresa Distribuidora Electrica Regional (BUE:EMDE4), or Emdersa.
Yesterday AEI Utilities, which holds 57,634,373 shares in Emdersa, signed two contracts with JP Morgan Overseas Capital Corporation and with GPU Argentina Holdings Inc and CoInvest Argentina SA to acquire a total 58,928,078 shares, equal to 24.96%, at a price of USD 0.68 per share.
