(ADPnews) - Aug 19, 2009 - Norwegian Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OSL:LSG) saw its operating profit before value adjustment of the biomass surge to an all-time high of NOK 221.6 million (USD 36.2m/EUR 25.6m) in the second quarter of 2009, up from NOK 51.7 million a year earlier.

In April to June 2009, the revenue rose to NOK 1.823 billion from NOK 1.515 billion in the corresponding period of 2008.

"The board is satisfied with the group's operating development and the result, which is the best in its history," Leroy Seafood said in its interim report, released today.
