(ADPnews) - Aug 20, 2009 - Kuwait-based telecommunications multinational Hits Telecom (KUW:HITSTELEC) raised its stake in Spanish subsidiary Hits Europe to 63% from 51%, the company said in a statement.

The operation is estimated at EUR 1.5 million (USD 2.135m).

In 2008 Hits Telecom acquired a 51% stake in Metrored Movil SA in Spain for EUR 7 million and incorporated it as Hits Europe.
