(ADPnews) - Aug 27, 2009 - Brazilian power sector regulator Aneel approved electricity price readjustments of four power distributors from Brazil's Northeast to enter into force tomorrow.
These are Companhia Energetica do Piaui (Cepisa), Companhia Energetica de Alagoas (Ceal), Energisa Paraiba (EPB) and Companhia Energetica do Maranhao (Cemar).
Household clients of Cepisa will pay by 5.88% less, while its industrial clients will pay by 1.33% more. Cepisa supplies electricity to 848,000 consumers in 223 municipalities of Piaui state.
