Article: German ThyssenKrupp to cut 300 jobs at Nirosta unit.

(ADPnews) - Sep 8, 2009 - German steel and engineering group ThyssenKrupp AG (ETR:TKA) said today it would cut 300 jobs at its Nirosta unit.

The measure is part of a labour deal reached today between the group's executive board and the General Works Council of Nirosta unit. The agreement, which is aimed at strengthening the company's competitiveness, is valid until December 31, 2012.
